About This Event

Celebrating 90 Years of Impact

Join Us for the Brighter Tomorrow Luncheon

Transform lives, inspire hope and build a stronger community with us. We warmly invite you to the Jewish Family & Children's Service's (JFCS) Brighter Tomorrow Luncheon on Friday, January 17, 2025.

JFCS is dedicated to strengthening our community through comprehensive behavioral health, healthcare and social services programs. We are proud to serve people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds, and the Brighter Tomorrow Luncheon is our opportunity to come together and reaffirm that commitment.

From 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (MST), share a table, enjoy a meal and listen to inspiring words from community leaders and powerful narratives from those we serve – tales of resilience and transformation – that demonstrate the impact of our programs. As you're moved by these stories, remember, you play an instrumental role in crafting them.

Decades of Service in Maricopa County

Come celebrate with us at the Brighter Tomorrow Luncheon, where we commemorate 90 years of transformative impact in the Greater Phoenix community. Since our founding in 1935 by a group of courageous Jewish women amidst the Great Depression, we have evolved into one of Maricopa County's leading integrated health nonprofits. We invite you to celebrate this milestone with us, reflecting on our journey of compassion, resilience and service. Together, let's honor our past, celebrate our present and embrace the promise of a brighter future ahead.

Make a Meaningful Difference

Our goal? Raise over $300,000 to impact the lives of more than 40,000 of our community's most vulnerable children, teens and adults. Here’s how your participation in the Brighter Tomorrow Luncheon can impact lives:

  • A $2,500 donation provides 20 emergency food boxes
  • A $1,000 donation helps domestic violence survivors pay the rent
  • An $800 donation provides emergency lodging for one adult
  • A $400 donation covers necessary utilities
  • A $250 donation supports education for youth
