  • Once approved, you will receive an invoice for the associated fees. Please note that payment must be completed within 14 days to secure your spot; otherwise, you will lose your spot.

The 2025 Good in the Hood Festival will be held at the Lillis Albina Park adjacent to the Harriet Tubman school on the corner of Flint and Russell on June 28-29, 2025. We are currently determining the best route for the 2025 parade and the information will be shared with all participants as soon as it is available.

The parade will be held Saturday morning, June 28, 2025.

Requirements for parade participation:

A) The Parade is a family-friendly, community-oriented event. Please be advised that press and media coverage will be present, and your performance must be suitable for audiences of all ages. Participants are expected to adhere to standards of conduct that are appropriate for a diverse audience, ensuring that content remains respectful and in line with the event's inclusive nature.

B) By attending the Good in the Hood Festival and/or Parade, you acknowledge and consent to the use of photography, audio recording, and video recording that may be captured during the event. These materials may be used for promotional purposes across various platforms, including print, online, and social media.

  • As participants in the Parade, we are unable to accommodate requests to exclude individuals, groups, or any members of an entourage from being photographed or recorded. If you or any members of your party do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please be advised that they will need to refrain from participating in the event. We recommend that all participants and their guests are informed of this policy prior to attending.

C) You acknowledge that you are fully responsible for the loading / unloading and management of your costumes, gear, and any other supplies. You will have a limited time window to get ready before being asked to line up, so we strongly encourage you to bring assistance. Timing for preparations will be provided in future communication for approved applications.

D) Please note that due to event logistics, we are unable to accommodate most requests for special privileges, including specific placement within the parade or event. We will, however, make every reasonable effort to address any medical or accessibility-related requests in advance. If we are unable to fulfill a specific request, we will notify you as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure a smooth and inclusive event for all participants.
