This year marks the U.S. Dream Academy’s 27th anniversary and the 24th Annual Power of a Dream Celebration: Bold Dreams Bright Futures, a night dedicated to honoring hope, resilience, and the limitless possibilities that unfold when we dare to dream.
Guests and sponsors will experience an unforgettable evening in Washington, D.C., filled with remarkable performances, moving stories, and powerful tributes to extraordinary leaders who embody service, compassion, and impact.
This year’s celebration will honor Troy and Tommi Vincent, recipients of the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Award; Edwina Findley, award-winning actress and author, recipient of the President’s Award; and Marla Lerner Tanenbaum, visionary philanthropist and community leader, recipient of the Legacy Award.
The evening will feature legendary gospel artist Vickie Winans, Grammy-nominated U.S. Dream Academy founder Wintley Phipps, the Takoma Academy Camerata under the direction of Lulu Mwangi, and a captivating performance by spoken word artist Nikki Ohhh, all coming together for a night of music, meaning, and mission.
Beyond the celebration, your support transforms lives. From mentoring in Baltimore to academic enrichment in Salt Lake City, your investment ensures that young people in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Orlando, Houston, and San Bernardino have access to mentorship, education, and opportunities that change the course of their futures.
Join us for an inspiring evening that celebrates legacy, honors leadership, and showcases the extraordinary power of dreams realized. Together, we are building bold dreams and bright futures.
