For 30 years, Hough Ear Institute has pursued one extraordinary vision: that all who have ears will hear.
What began as a bold idea has grown into three decades of discovery, innovation and impact. From groundbreaking hearing research and training the next generation of hearing professionals to helping Oklahomans hear the voices they love, Hough Ear Institute is changing what is possible for people with hearing loss.
On November 19, we’ll gather at Innovation Hall for an evening celebrating the people who have moved that vision forward, the discoveries that are bringing us closer, and the lives changed along the way.
But this celebration isn’t only about looking back.
It’s about what we can make possible next.
Join us as we celebrate 30 years of sound, science and hope and help write the next chapter of Hough Ear Institute.
Come Hungry - A Partnership with Purpose
We’ve all been to the beautiful gala with the beautiful tables...and the obligatory rubber chicken dinner.
We decided to do things differently.
This year, dinner comes from our friends at Texas Roadhouse and Bubba’s 33, and their place at our celebration means far more to us than what’s on the menu.
Their partnership with Hough Ear Institute carries forward the lasting legacy of founder Kent Taylor and his personal connection to tinnitus, creating a meaningful bond between their family of restaurants and our work to better understand tinnitus, pursue new treatments and bring hope to those who live with it.
We’re incredibly proud to have Texas Roadhouse and Bubba’s 33 at the table as we celebrate 30 years of Hough. Together, we’ll serve up a generous buffet of food people actually want to eat, while supporting a mission that means something deeply personal to all of us.
So forget the rubber chicken. Come hungry.
And yes, there will be Texas Roadhouse rolls and cinnamon butter.
