About This Event

Team Leader: Wendy and Pastor Angel Cartagena

This is an 8-day trip, Wednesday through Wednesday. The team will conduct community feedings, water filter distribution and the building of a home for a family, pastoral teachings in Spanish to local pastors and ministry leaders and more!  Mature children (12 - 18) accompanied by an adult are welcome.  No construction experience is needed.  Team size is dependent upon the number of people in a family going.

TRAVEL

Teams fly into the brand new Palmerola International Airport in Comayagua (XPL) just a 15-minute drive from La Paz where you serve. Teams are met at the airport by HCP staff.

PASSPORTS

Honduras requires that your US* passport be valid for 6 months after your scheduled date of return to the United States. You will not be allowed to travel if your passport is not valid for this length of time. Please make sure you have a valid US passport or apply for one ASAP. New passports and passport renewals can take 6-8 weeks to process.

*Travelers with a passport from a country other than the US should verify visa and/or other requirements before planning travel to Honduras.

LODGING & MEALS

The brand new HCP Mission House is located in the town of La Paz, Honduras about 1 mile from the Center Square, and only 15 minutes from the airport. It is located on 17 beautiful acres with mountain views. The house is 4,000 square feet and has 7 comfortable bedrooms with bunk beds, 7 full bathrooms with hot showers, and sleeps up to 28 people. We provide all meals while in Honduras. Travelers are responsible for their own meals at the airports.
