Come Swim with Your Pup at Coco’s Cupboard!

Make a splash with your furry friend! 🐾💦 Our dog-friendly pool opens the first week of May, offering 45-minute swim sessions for just $30. Have multiple pups? Add up to three more dogs for just $5 each (max 4 dogs per session).

We provide ramps and ladders so you can swim together or let your dog enjoy the water solo. Plus, our ADA-accessible facility ensures everyone can join in the fun!

Pool Rules

  • Swim at your own risk.  No lifeguard on duty.
  • After parking, use the fenced gate directly in front of the pool (wooden pirate ship).  Volunteer will be waiting for you.  All new participants will receive a short orientation from volunteer.
  • You must read and sign Coco’s waiver prior to entering the pool area. (See the bottom of the page.)  Volunteer will witness.
  • All children under the age of 12 must have their parents’ consent/waiver (below) signed, must be accompanied by an adult on the dock, and must wear a lifejacket (not provided).
  • All children under the age of 18 must have their parents’ consent/waiver (below) signed and must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Always be respectful of your scheduled time by remaining in the yard outside the pool area until previous appointment has completely exited the area.
  • While on the premises, all dogs MUST remain leashed unless on dock or in pool and you MUST maintain a 6’ distance between your dogs and all other dogs not in your group.
  • Do not feed your dogs at least three (3) hours prior to their pool time.
  • Only four (4) dogs maximum allowed in pool area.
  • Only one (1) dog dock diving at a time.
  • Absolutely NO use of Flexi-leads or retractable leashes allowed on premises.
  • Prong collars/E-collars/Harnesses must be removed before entering the pool.
  • Only DOGS are permitted in the pool unless same day authorization is given to each person by volunteer.
  • NO pushing or shoving dogs into the pool.
  • Human aggressive dogs may be declined service unless you are a self serve, experienced dock practice client and will be evaluated case by case by Suzanne Aaron. They will be required to be muzzled when off the dock and on the grounds and be always under your complete control.
  • Take dogs on mid-swim potty breaks in the yard outside the pool area to prevent accidents.  Once again, you are responsible for your dogs’ waste; promptly pick up after your dogs and use the refuse bins provided.  While on potty break, maintain a 6’ distance between your dogs all other dogs not in your group.  Close gate behind you and NEVER prop the gate open.
  • You are responsible for your dogs’ waste; promptly pick up after your dogs and use the refuse bins provided.  You MUST notify staff if your dog urinates, defecates, or vomits on the dock or in the pool so we may sanitize properly.  Failure to notify will result in denial to rent or use pool area.
  • Notify staff of any equipment damage or problems.  Fines may be implemented for cleaning $50 dock accident or $200 pool accident.
  • All dogs MUST be current on Rabies shot!
  • Female dogs in heat are NOT allowed.  Appointment MUST be rescheduled.
  • Make sure your dogs are clean and that their nails are short and rounded.
  • If your dogs are shedding, please brush thoroughly before swimming.
  • Bring everything you will need for your dogs: towels, floating treats, water toys, water bowl, water, and a life jacket (not provided). Dogs that are experienced swimmers or dock-divers may not have to wear a vest if you allow and provide us with a written release (below).
  • Bring everything you will need for yourself and be prepared to get wet if you are actively involved in your dogs’ session. Wear non-slip dock, water or tennis shoes.  FOR YOUR SAFETY, Flip-Flops are NOT allowed on dock.
  • Your dogs will not be allowed to swim if they (1) are not weight-bearing (2) are limping (3) have had orthopedic surgery (4) have sustained injury within 9 months of session unless you provide a veterinary letter stating your dogs can resume regular low impact activity.
  • Your dogs will not be allowed to swim if they (1) have been vomiting (2) have diarrhea (3) have a skin condition (4) have had recent surgery (5) have an open wound.
  • Turn on misters when you arrive. Make sure to turn off when you leave.  This will help to keep the hot surface cool.
  • Nothing made of glass past the entrance gate.
  • NO gum, food, or smoking (of any kind) in pool area. There are approved smoking areas on the property.  NO alcohol or drugs permitted on premises.
  • Inclement weather cancellations will be posted on Facebook. Cancellations during sessions are at volunteer’s discretion.  Sessions cancelled will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
  • Must leave in a timely manner at your scheduled end time. Remembering to collect your belongings and trash before you leave.  We don’t maintain a lost and found.

A Reminder: Dogs must be under your control and on leash while off the dock. (NO retractable leashes permitted). Dogs and minors must ALWAYS be supervised by their guardians!
