Community Clay Night

Join us once a month for an open, casual, hand building clay gathering! These sessions are welcome to all, no experience is needed! Come as you are. Whether this is your first time working with clay or you’re an old pro, we welcome you to come and experiment and make new friends in the process. You are welcome to make as much or as little as you’d like in the time allowed. Each month a new project will be introduced, however you may also choose to follow your own path in exploring the clay. Clay, tools, materials, finishing, glazing, and firing provided.
Space is limited to 20 maximum participants; registration required. Scholarships are available upon request. Registration opens one month prior to workshop, committed participants encouraged. Please dress for changing weather conditions.
Event Schedule
5:45-6pm - Participants arrive
6:00pm - Clay Night begins
7:45pm - Clean up
8pm - Clay Night concludes. All projects will be fired within the following three weeks for pickup.
Many people are interested in this event and space is limited! We ask that you register only if you are committed to attending. If you are unable to attend your workshop please contact us within 48 hours of the event to ensure we are able to pass your class spot to someone on the waiting list in a timely manner. Tinworks understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we ask that you contact us as soon as possible.
If registration fills, a "Waiting List" option will become available and you can select this to be added to a queue. We will contact these individuals as spots become available. Those on the waiting list may come the night of the workshop to be sold available spots if registered participants do not show, but will not be garaunteed a class position. Those on the waiting list are welcome to come and observe the class, however project materials are reserved for registered individuals.
We recommend arriving with plenty of time to park and get settled. Parking can be found in the Tinworks Art parking lot or surrounding streets. The free Bozeman Streamline bus route also has several stops in the area.

Instructor Lauren Woods
Lauren Woods is an artist, ceramicist, seasoned educator, and business owner. Her studio and shop can be found in downtown Bozeman. Woods’ work is inspired by nature, astrology, mental health, and humor and she loves working with clay. Woods believes in chasing big dreams and doing what you love.
