Join Sarah Henderson from Wildarts & Music Together Bozeman for a family music class. Families will sing, dance and play simple instruments together for 45 minutes of play-based music making. Class will end with an egg shaker craft for children to make and take home their own instrument. Recommended for children ages 5 & under and their caregivers. Babies & toddlers welcome!
Space is limited to 15 maximum children; registration required. Scholarships are available upon request. Registration opens one month prior to workshop, committed participants encouraged. Please dress for changing weather conditions.
Event Schedule
9:50am - Participants arrive
10:00am - Workshop begins
10:55am - Clean up
11am - Workshop concludes. All projects may be taken home with students.
Many people are interested in this event and space is limited! We ask that you register only if you are committed to attending. If you are unable to attend your workshop please contact us within 48 hours of the event to ensure we are able to pass your class spot to someone on the waiting list in a timely manner. Tinworks understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we ask that you contact us as soon as possible.
If registration fills, a "Waiting List" option will become available and you can select this to be added to a queue. We will contact these individuals as spots become available. Those on the waiting list may come the night of the workshop to be sold available spots if registered participants do not show, but will not be garaunteed a class position. Those on the waiting list are welcome to come and observe the class, however project materials are reserved for registered individuals.
We recommend arriving with plenty of time to park and get settled. Parking can be found in the Tinworks Art parking lot or surrounding streets. The free Bozeman Streamline bus route also has several stops in the area.

Instructor Sarah Henderson, Music Together Bozeman
Sarah Henderson has been working with children and families for nearly 15 years. She holds a BFA in Theatre from Syracuse University. She has worked professionally as an acton in both New York and Los Angeles. For 7 years, she performed as a puppeteer and actor for Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre, providing education in literacy, conflict management, and nutrition to children in elementary schools across Southern California. It was during her time at Kaiser Permanente that she discovered the magic at the intersection between theatre, music and education. Sarah and her husband Cody created their company, Wildarts, to bring theatre and music to the families of the Gallatin Valley. She works with Random Acts of Siliness to create innovative and unique theatrical experiences here in Bozeman. Sarah has also worked as a postpartum doula, briging support to families as they welcome newborns. She is the mom of two growing daughters with whom she loves to sing.
Sarah completed her live Music Together® Training in December of 2021. Music Together Teacher Training is built on research in early childhood and music development. Sarah continues her musical education through workshops and advanced training offered by Music Together Worldwide.
