ECOcentric Experience is our new environmental education series for adults seeking a deeper understanding of and closer relationship to nature. Through seasonal lectures as well as immersive field experiences, participants study birds and wildlife, regenerative farming, watershed protection, and habitat stewardship.
PARKING & ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
PARKING | Parking will be located at Rushton Farm (911 Delchester Rd, Newtown Square)
ACCESSIBILITY | This program will involve light walking around the preserve in meadows, hedgerows, and woodland.

CANCELLATION POLICY | WCT may cancel events due to inclement weather or low registration. If an event is canceled, we will notify you of the rescheduled event date, and you will receive a full refund. If you can no longer attend | If your cancellation is at least 72 hours in advance of the event date, you will receive a full refund. Please email bhg@wctrust.org or call 610-353-2562 to cancel. If your cancellation is less than 72 hours' notice and you DO NOT attend a event, your event registration fee will support the Trust's mission to save open space and connect people to nature. Rabia Jones is a Clinical Herbalist in the greater Philadelphia area offering herbalism classes and workshops, as well as 1:1 mentorship and health consultations. She crafts custom tea blends and plant-infused products. Rabia’s passion is to empower you to become your own herbalist and healer through reconnecting with the powerful medicine of the earth.
Andrew Wraith has worked as an outdoor educator for 14 years guiding children and adults through magical experiences in the natural world. He has been an avid forager since the days of picking berries and grape vines as a child, however he has dedicated himself to the study of this topic for the past 7 years. He deepened his ecological knowledge through Masters coursework in Environmental Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, while working as a crew member at Rushton Farm. He is currently pioneering a business model connecting landowners, ecological restoration, and foraging.
