Application to judge the 2026 Lakeland PigFest, Inc. Professional, Backyard, Kids Q, or Friday Night Division contests.
Event dates are Friday, January 23rd and Saturday, January 24th, 2026. Applicants must be Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) certified prior to judging the Professional contest.
Thank you for registering and your interest as a judge for the 2026 Lakeland PigFest Event; you will be notified at a later date (closer to the event) to confirm your place as a judge.
We have been asked by KCBS Contest Representatives to remind you that when you register for a contest, you agree to be a part of the Judging Process in its entirety. This could include, but is not limited to, Judging, being a Table Captain, working the Turn-in-Table/Number Changing area and helping at the Leftover area. Participation as a Judge can include many different aspects of the Process.
