2026 Larry Wilder Memorial Fishing Tournament
Since its inception in 2006, our annual fishing tournament has made a life-changing impact on the students and teachers of Hillsborough County.
Named after Larry Wilder, a passionate supporter of our public schools, this tournament benefits Hillsborough Education Foundation and our mission to strengthen public education by providing school supplies to students in need, funding school and classroom enrichment grants, supporting two student scholarships and more! Participating individuals and businesses will be contributing to students’ success in a very direct way.
This year’s event on April 16, 2026 will take place at Hula Bay Club. Food and beverages will be provided to participating anglers throughout the day.

Awards Ceremony & Lunch: 3:30 p.m.
Three Species Categories: Snook, Trout & Redfish
1st Place: Longest Fish of Species
2nd Place: 2nd Longest Fish of Species
3rd Place: 3rd Longest Fish of Species
Grand Slam: Largest Total of the Three (by one angler)
Guppy Award: Smallest Total of the Three (by one angler)

Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the State. No portion of any contribution is retained by professional solicitors, so one hundred percent of each contribution is received by this organization. Your taxable portion is $175 per person.
