About This Event
Join the Center for the Rights of Abused Children and our host, Shamrock Foods Company, for Light Their Way: A Holiday Evening of Hope, a holiday tree lighting ceremony and reception.
Wednesday, December 2, 2026, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Each light on our tree stands for an abused child in Arizona, a child who deserves safety, love, and someone standing by their side. Together, we’ll light the tree as a sign of hope and our commitment to protecting them.
Enjoy holiday refreshments, connect with friends old and new, and learn how our work is helping children move from harm into safe, loving homes.
Why the Lights Matter
Emma was eight years old when she was rescued from abuse by her father. Her rescue should have ended the story. It didn’t. Officials moved to send her back, and she had no one in court fighting for her. Then our pro bono attorney stepped in, presented the evidence, stopped the return, and helped a loving family adopt Emma. Today she’s the loudest player on the basketball court and the lead in her school play. She dreams of becoming a lawyer, fighting for children the way someone fought for her.
Stories like Emma’s are why we do this work. The Center has helped more than one million abused children, from strengthening laws to providing free legal help, so no child faces court alone.
Admission is complimentary. Click Register and Support to reserve your spot.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorships range from $1,000 to $15,000. Confirm by November 20 to be recognized on event signage and the giving page. For questions, contact Natalie Stewart at natalie@thecenterforchildren.org.
