About This Event

Bring the whole family for a fun and kid-friendly evening of Halloween-themed outdoor education! We'll walk along the Briar Creek Greenway while learning about spooky creatures of the nightime and the importance of urban green spaces! Conservancy staff will be joined by local expert Abby Fry, who will share information about bats and lead participants in using a bat monitor.

Attendees will meet at the Mint Museum Randolph parking lot and walk together along Briar Creek Greenway to Eastover Ridge Preserve, where we will make several short stops to observe wildlife as the sun sets. Eastover Ridge Preserve is one of the Conservancy's urban conservation projects, located right in the heart of Charlotte.
