Sketch and Hike at Eastover Ridge Preserve

Join local artist Wil Bosbyshell (artwork featured above) and the Catawba Lands Conservancy for a fun, short sketching hike at Eastover Ridge Preserve in Charlotte, NC. Attendees will meet at the trailhead parking lot adjacent to the Mint Museum Randolph, then hike down the greenway together. The program will start with a quick sketching demonstration followed by free time to create your own artwork. All necessary sketching materials will be provided, and you will get to keep your sketchbook at the end of the program.

Eastover Ridge Preserve is a 21-acre forest protected permanently by Catawba Lands Conservancy. It is also home to Mecklenburg County's Briar Creek Greenway. The greenway is flat and paved, and we will hike about half a mile to reach our sketching destination.
