Nov 22, 2026 – Double Takes: FEATURING—KADIST Collection Shorts and Eric Baudelaire Feature

About This Event

Tinworks Presents

The first installment of

Double Takes: FEATURING

Sunday, November 22, 2026

3–6pm at Tinworks at Rialto

For the first FEATURING screening at Tinworks at Rialto, curator Vic Brooks is joined by KADIST’s Americas Director, Joseph del Pesco, for a conversation about what the 120-year-old format of the feature film, along with the architecture, rituals, and shared experience of cinema, can still offer contemporary artists. Drawing on the questions at the heart of the series, they will discuss what happens when artists move between the museum and the film industry, how methods developed through experimental moving-image practice translate to feature scale, and what new possibilities—and contradictions—emerge around genre, production, distribution, economics, and spectatorship.

The conversation is followed by a screening of Eric Baudelaire’s award-winning first feature, which traces a path between Japanese revolutionary politics, cinema, and exile.
