Rooted in Resilience is built on a foundation of expert knowledge and community support, empowering families to foster growth, build strong connections and advocate for every child’s success. Developed and presented by CRCC’s experienced team of professionals, this series equips parents and caregivers with valuable insights on parenting, advocacy and child well-being. From understanding child behavior to driving meaningful change in our community, we bring relevant topics to families in a clear, accessible way. Join us as we grow together, strengthening families and creating a community where all children can thrive.

  • Session 2 – When You Want to Care But You Can’t: Combatting Compassion Fatigue

      • When You Want to Care But You Can’t: Combatting Compassion Fatigue is part of our Rooted in Resilience series and will be held in person at CRCC’s Northwest Center. Led by Dr. Lequisha Turner of Evolving Minds Behavioral Health in Omaha, this session is intended to help caregivers recognize the signs, symptoms, and consequences of compassion fatigue. Strategies for addressing compassion fatigue so that caregivers can continue finding satisfaction in their role will be provided.
