Saturday Hiking with the Dogs at Saving Grace Animals for Adoption

Date: Saturdays (and some weekdays) - May 23 through September 12, 2026
Check-in: 
       8:00 AM - 4 Mile Hike*
       8:15 and 8:30 AM - 3 Mile Hike
Location: Saving Grace Animals for Adoption

*The 4 mile hike may be changed to the 3 mile course depending on the weather. The decision will be made at the departure of the hike.

Join us on Saturdays to take our dogs out for a 3 or 4 mile hike on the Mountain to Sea Trail. Help our dogs and yourself be with nature and get some exercise. One dog per paid ticket, children may attend but must be supervised by an adult. Must be 18 years old to walk a dog on your own. During the summer heat, the first hiking group may take the 4 mile course, weather permitting. 

What to Bring:

• Hiking Clothes
• Good hiking shoes
• Water bottle
• Bug spray and suntan lotion (seasonally)
• An open heart and a smile!

**While the address below is our location, please park at the Harris Teeter and walk over as we need to leave space in our parking lot for Volunteers and Adopters.**
