This year's Taste of Golf features an exciting new twist: a panel of celebrity judges who will crown the evening's winning chef. While guests will still have the opportunity to vote for the coveted People's Choice Award, our celebrity judges will sample each chef's creation and determine who takes home the title of Taste of Golf Champion.
Embracing this year's Oktoberfest theme, guests can expect an energetic atmosphere filled with festive décor, seasonal flavors, and plenty of opportunities to raise a glass with friends old and new. Historically, participating chefs have represented some of the region's premier culinary teams, including Cape Fear Country Club, Country Club of Landfall, Porters Neck Country Club, River Landing, and MegaCorp Logistics. Each chef will prepare a signature dish, giving guests the chance to sample a variety of creative and delicious offerings throughout the evening.
Beyond the food, guests can enjoy interactive golf-inspired games, contests, raffle opportunities, and a lively silent auction, all while learning how First Tee – Greater Wilmington is helping local youth build character, confidence, and life skills through golf.
Providing the soundtrack for the evening, local favorites Courtney Lynn & Quinn will perform live, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of great food, entertainment, and camaraderie.
