Presented by Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development

Utility Rights Train-the-Trainer Workshop [VIRTUAL]

About This Training

SPEAKERS: Sachaly De Leon, ANHD and Jacqueline Rodriguez, Public Utility Law Project (PULP)

Join the Public Utility Law Project of New York (PULP) for an educational webinar exploring the intersection of energy security and housing.

Energy insecurity can have a significant impact on the housing stability and health of communities. This webinar will provide all ANHD members, whether community workers, affordable housing developers, and policy advocates—with practical information and tools to help their communities navigate energy insecurity and protect access to essential services.

We will discuss consumer protections, advocacy strategies, utility service considerations, and resources that can help organizers and service providers  address energy insecurity and support housing stability. Participants will gain a better understanding of how utility issues intersect with affordable housing and how they can take action to support equitable outcomes for the communities they serve.

RSVP & Attendance Policy:  To help us ensure strong attendance and make the most of our training sessions, a nominal registration fee will be collected to confirm your RSVP. This fee helps us plan appropriately and reserve your space in the training. If you are unable to attend after registering, please notify Zara Afridi at zara.a@anhd.org at least five (5) business days before the training. Thank you!
