2027 Watchman - Rebekah Thomas


The THSC Watchmen are homeschooled graduates who step directly into policy, advocacy, and leadership at the Texas Capitol. Watchmen don't just observe the legislative process - they review and analyze legislation, track bills, work with lawmakers and staff, help draft and negotiate improvements, and testify when needed.

Rebekah Thomas

I was homeschooled from fifth grade through high school and this past May I graduated with my bachelor's degree in political science from Texas Tech University. This next spring, I look forward to being a part of the THSC Watchmen program, getting first hand experience in the political process, and working with the THSC team to help protect Texas families and their freedoms.

With a degree in political science and plans to pursue a master’s in public administration, Rebekah feels called to a career in government and public service. The Watchmen Program will give her firsthand experience analyzing legislation and help prepare her for a future of principled leadership.
