At The Children's TherAplay Foundation, our therapy horses are more than just animals - they're trusted teammates and friends to the incredible kiddos we serve every day.
Each year, our community comes together to vote for one special therapy horse who has gone above and beyond. The winner earns the title of Horse of the Year - a meaningful way to recognize the strength, patience, and love that our horses bring into every therapy session.
Your gift in honor of our Horse of the Year helps us:
- Provide the highest quality care, nutrition, and veterinary support for our entire herd
- Train and support our horse-handlers who make every therapy session safe, effective, and full of joy
- Create life-changing moments for kiddos with disabilities and/or unique needs through hippotherapy
2025 Horse of the Year: Janey Ray
Though she is no longer with us, Janey's legacy lives on in the milestones she helped our kiddos achieve and the joy she brought to every session. This recognition celebrates her incredible impact and the lasting hoofprints she left on our hearts.
