About This Event

The CGMA Invitational is the premier golf event for members of the Coast Guard community. The four-day, nationwide event is open to all members of the Coast Guard family including Active Duty, Reserve, Retired, Civilian Personnel, Auxiliary, and their families and guests. 

Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) is a 501(c)(3), headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. Serving as the official aid society for the United States Coast Guard, CGMA’s mission is to enable financial resiliency within the Coast Guard Community.  Each of CGMA’s grant and interest-free loan programs are purposefully designed to ensure that short term financial challenges do not become chronic financial problems. In 2023, CGMA fulfilled more than 8,200 requests for financial help and provided over $9.9 million in support—providing an average of $27,123 in financial assistance every day. Since its inception in 1924, CGMA has provided over $240 million in direct assistance. For more information about CGMA visit: www.mycgma.org.

Ticket Types

  • Golfer - Registration includes four (4) rounds of golf with cart, with range balls each day; individual (1) ticket to Welcome Reception and Awards Dinner, (4) Breakfasts, Swag Bag, and Access to Discounted Replay Rates for additional rounds. Discounted rate provided for Active Duty members E-6/GS-7 and below. Employee ID required for discounted registration. 
  • Guest - Registration includes individual (1) ticket to Welcome Reception and Awards Dinner 

Accommodations

  • Single vs Double - Barefoot Resort Golf Club features a collection of two and three-bedroom golf villas. There are no "solo" accommodations; registration for single occupancy includes a private room in a shared villa with other golfers. Registration for double occupancy includes a shared room in a shared villa with other golfers. 

NOTE: If you do not select a housing option, you will be responsible for arranging your own accommodation

  • Additional nights: Accommodation packages include reservations for 4 nights (Tuesday, November 12 through Saturday, November 16). Many tournament guests elect to spend extra nights at the resort prior to or immediately following the tournament.  Additional nights can NOT be reserved until the resort has the rooming list. This will only be provided after the registration deadline. You will be able to reserve additional nights after 18 October 2024. To reserve rooms for extra nights, call 843-390-4800. 
     
  • Transportation: Barefoot Villas are situated around the golf courses of Barefoot Resort. Transportation is required to and from the courses.

Pledge Per Shot

Set a pledge per shot during medal play (Wednesday - Friday). At the end of the tournament, simply multiply your pledge by your total score and make a tax-deductible donation to support the work of CGMA. Provide your pledge amount with your registration details. 

Example Of How It Works: Last year the highest combined score shot was a 425. The following examples provide a sense of what the result of your pledge would be based on that score. 

$0.05 x 425 = $21.25

$0.25 x 425 = $106.25

$0.50 x 425 = $212.50

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made prior to 20 September 2024, will receive a 100% refund. 
Cancellations received between 21 September 2024 and 09 October 2024, will receive a 60% refund. 
For cancellations received on or after 10 October 2024, refunds will not be permitted.
