Our 22nd Conference is going virtual!

Thank you for your patience as we worked through planning our annual conference virtually for the first time. As 2020 went by, we modified our plan multiple times... high hopes of hosting an in-person event eventually transformed into hopes for a hybrid event that ultimately led to the decision to host a 100% virtual event.  

While we will miss the in-person networking that our conference typically offers, we are excited to bring an awesome virtual program to you! The virtual format has allowed us to bring in the great local speakers our attendees have come to expect and speakers from across the Country!

Thursday - Todd Ambs

From 2003-2010, Todd was the DNR’s Water Division administrator, where he was lead negotiator for the State of Wisconsin during the development of the Great Lakes Compact. Todd has worked in the environmental policy field for more than 30 years, most recently as the campaign director for Healing our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition. His extensive experience in both state government and nonprofit organizations includes serving as executive director of two statewide river organizations, policy director for the Ohio Attorney General and senior policy analyst for the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Todd graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Speech.

As a Partner at Stafford Rosenbaum, LLP, Paul practice focuses on environmental regulatory matters with a particular emphasis on water issues. He represents municipalities on wastewater, stormwater, water supply, mining, energy and other environmental issues. He also represents individuals and businesses on land use and development matters including developments in and around shorelands, wetlands, and navigable waters. He has served on over a dozen DNR advisory committees on water policy issues and has been involved in developing environmental legislation.
