About This Event

Saturday, June 27 | 1:00–3:00 PM
Bexley Public Library

Transportation Challenges & Solutions: Pathways to Employment is a community-focused event hosted by Greenleaf Job Training Services for individuals with disabilities who are entering or working to enter the workforce. The event centers on transportation as a critical factor in employment access, while also recognizing the broader network of supports that help people successfully obtain and maintain work.

We are inviting community partners, service providers, and vendors to participate by hosting informational booths and engaging directly with attendees. Vendors will have the opportunity to:

  • Share information about transportation-related services, assistance programs, and resources
  • Highlight other supports that contribute to workforce participation and employment stability
  • Connect one-on-one with job seekers, families, and community members
  • Be part of collaborative, solutions-oriented conversations around access, opportunity, and employment

In addition to vendor-hosted booths, Greenleaf will facilitate interactive experiences, including:

  • A storytelling booth featuring real-life transportation challenges and successes related to employment
  • A resource-focused booth highlighting available transportation options and supports in the Columbus area

This event is designed to be informative, engaging, and welcoming, creating space for meaningful connections, shared learning, and practical takeaways for attendees.
