Field Trip for Grown-Ups: Fundraiser for Children & Youth Programs

About This Event

Join us for an evening at Peralta Hacienda Historical Park in support of programs that connect kids and families to history, culture, and the outdoors. Field Trips for Grown-Ups is our annual spring fundraiser, bringing together community members who believe access to hands-on learning and safe public spaces should not depend on income or school budgets.

Funds raised help us continue offering free educational, environmental, and cultural programs for children and youth across Oakland, with a focus on Title I schools and historically underserved communities. Your ticket supports school-based learning experiences, youth leadership and environmental stewardship programs, community food distribution, and care of the park as a shared community resource.

Guests will enjoy food and wine, time to connect with fellow supporters, and a short program highlighting youth voices and community impact. The evening includes a simple hands-on element inspired by our education programs, but the heart of the night is collective investment in kids, families, and opportunity.

Come celebrate what’s possible when we remove barriers and say yes to more opportunities for young people to learn and thrive.

If you would like to purchase ticket(s) by check or cash, please contact Miguel Lopez, miguel@peraltahacienda.org, for arrangements.
