Featured Speaker: Brittany McCoy

Brittany McCoy graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2014 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Shortly thereafter she became a part of the malignant hematology team at the Buffett Cancer Center in Omaha, NE. Brittany’s interest in oncology stemmed from the desire to work in a meaningful, challenging, and innovative area of medicine. She worked on the inpatient malignant hematology, cellular therapy, and bone marrow transplant service for 10 years before transitioning to an outpatient clinic role in 2024. Throughout her career, Brittany has been passionate about educating. She lectures for PA students and for Nebraska Medicine’s Nursing Oncology Fellowship program. Brittany has a deep respect for cancer patients and the complex physical, emotional, social, and spiritual side effects they endure.
