About This Event
Join us for a meaningful Domestic Violence Awareness Dog Walk as we come together to honor survivors and support an important cause. You’re welcome to bring your four-legged companion, or, thanks to our partnership with Squishy Face Crew VA Animal Rescue, you may have the opportunity to walk a rescue dog during the event.
The day will begin with an opening ceremony featuring a powerful live testimony from a survivor. Each registered participant will receive an event T-shirt, a dog bandana, a gift bag, and a raffle ticket. Attendees will also have access to a community resource fair, along with vendors such as Velvet Paws, offering treats for your furry friends.
Participants are responsible for the safety and cleanup of their animals throughout the event. Please note that this is a rain-or-shine event, and all registrations are non-refundable. All proceeds directly benefit survivors through Be the Light in the Darkness.
