200 individually numbered golf balls (1-200)
Each ball is assigned five “chances” to win; IF the winning ball is valued at $5,000 then each of the 5 chances of the winning ball is valued at $1,000/chance. Participants may buy chances at $25/chance; or five chances for $100. A total of 1,000 chances (5 x 200) are available to be sold.
Participants buying a multiple of individual chances, less than five (@ $25/chance), will have those chances assigned one PER ball, as available.
Participants purchasing five chances at a time (@ $100) will have all five chances assigned to one ball, as available.
Chances purchased will be assigned randomly to a ball, or balls, by charity representatives; without exception. A list of ball numbers and their assigned chances (participants) will be available prior to the execution of the contest.
CONTEST: ALL balls will be dropped from an elevated position above the chosen putting green. Once all balls have stopped rolling the one closest to the pin is declared the winner. If one or more balls were to actually go in the designated hole then the ball on the bottom (or first in) is deemed the winning ball and all winners holding chances assigned to that ball are declared the winner.
*The total maximum prize winnings will be set at $5,000 or 25% of total revenues collected in the sale of chances sold UP TO $5,000. EXAMPLE: Using a total prize of $5,000 an individual assigned one chance of the winning ball receives $1,000; two chances $2,000; three chances $3,000; four chances $4,000; or five chances $5,000.
Chances may be purchased through the GCM website and/or on-site on the day of the contest, if available. An effort will be made to sell at least one chance on each of the 200 balls. You DO NOT need to be present to win.
