Arrival Date in Johannesburg, South Africa: June 6
Departure Date from Johannesburg, South Africa: June 15 after 8pm
Arrival Date in Home Country: June 16
Ground Costs (Excludes Flight Costs):
Shared Accommodation (per person): $2,990 USD
Single, Private Accommodatoin (per person): $3,290 USD
Note: The ground costs above are for ONE person. Each person planning to travel must complete their own registration.
Rather than paying your ground costs in full up front, you may choose to fundraise - making payments over time and inviting friends and family to support as well. If you choose this option, select only the "Deposit" option of $250 when registering and make note of the fundraising deadlines below.

Registration: $250 USD nonrefundable deposit due at the time of registration (As of Februart 11, 2026: The deposit price is now $1,650 in accordance with our funding deadlines.)

April 15, 2026: Account fully funded

Once your registration has been submitted, you will recieve an email with two links total, one for each of the following:
Trip Participant Agreement
Background Check Release
You must complete and submit BOTH of these links to be eligible for participation in the trip.
If you've opted to fundraise, once we receive your completed background check and signed trip agreement, you will receive instructions to finalize your funding page through Bloomerang Fundraising.

Every person traveling must complete a Trip Registration Form with a unique email address.
Flights must be self-booked to arrive in Johannesburg (JNB) on June 6 and depart Johannesburg on June 15 any time after 8 pm. Please contact trips@heartforafrica.org with any questions.
For International (Non-US) Payments: All payments are in USD. We are unable to issue tax receipts to anyone outside of the US.
