Join Projects With Care for an evening of celebration, friendship, and community.
Some of the most meaningful things we give one another can’t be wrapped or measured. They are the moments when a child feels remembered, a family feels supported, and someone knows they are not alone.
For 35 years, that simple act of caring has brought people together through Projects With Care. This year, we invite you to come together with us to celebrate what happens when friends care enough to make a difference.
At Friends Who Care, we’ll celebrate an extraordinary past 12 months and the incredible impact our community has made together, helping New York City children and families feel seen, supported, celebrated, and cared for.
We’ll also mark a very special milestone: the 35th Anniversary of the Stockings With Care Drive. For 35 years, friends, neighbors, volunteers, and partners have come together to bring the magic of the holidays to children and families who need it most.
The evening will also honor two very special friends of Projects With Care:
Teamsters Local 817 will receive the Delivering Hope Award, recognizing their extraordinary partnership and commitment to helping us deliver hope to children and families across New York City.
Kristi Lowery will receive the Heart of Projects With Care Award, honoring the compassion, dedication, and heart she brings to our community and to the children and families we serve.
We’ll also be treated to a very special performance by the SCAN-Harbor Tony Duke Performing Arts Academy Combined Ensembles, celebrating the talent, creativity, and spirit of the young people we are so proud to support.
Most of all, Friends Who Care is a celebration of the people who make Projects With Care possible. Because every backpack given, every bed delivered, every holiday wish fulfilled, and every child reminded that they matter happens because people care enough to show up.
