26th Annual Augusta Spine Symposium

About This Event

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Section of Spine Surgery at Wellstar MCG Health will be holding its 26th Annual Augusta Spine Symposium with distinguished surgeon, Daniel Sciubba, MD, MBA serving as visiting professor. Dr. Sciubba is the Chair and Professor of Neurosurgery at Northwell Health/Hofstra.  Previously, he was the Director, Spine Tumor and Spinal Deformity Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital 2015 – 2021.  Dr. Sciubba earned his medical degree Columbia University and completed his neurosurgery residency at Johns Hopkins University.  Most recently, he earned his MBA at the Wharton School of Business.

The symposium for this academic year is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026, with breakfast starting at 7:00 AM at SRP Park in North Augusta, South Carolina.  There will be a reception Friday evening at SRP Park following the academic event and will include an evening watching the Augusta GreenJackets baseball game, food and beverages, and fellowship. We expect a large turnout from surgeons in the community and surrounding areas.
