The 2026 Battle of the Paddles Pickleball Tournament is more than a sporting event—it’s a high-energy community experience that brings together business leaders, healthcare professionals, advocates, and local residents for a shared purpose: advancing mental health, wellness, and recovery across South Florida.

Hosted in support of South Florida Wellness Network, this tournament celebrates the power of connection, movement, and community. SFWN is a recovery-focused support network led by young adults, adults, and family peers whose work is grounded in lived experience. United by personal journeys through behavioral health, emotional wellness, trauma, and substance use challenges, SFWN empowers individuals and families to discover their own paths to recovery while strengthening recovery-ready communities.

Through its Recovery Community Centers, SFWN provides safe, welcoming spaces for peer connection, groups, activities, and one-on-one support. Certified Peer Specialists walk alongside individuals on their unique recovery journeys, while community outreach and education efforts promote advocacy, harm reduction, stigma reduction, and public awareness. SFWN also invests in families and youth through support groups, mentorship, and skill-building, and strengthens the behavioral health workforce by offering training and certification opportunities for peers entering the field.
