Consider the story of Carlos Vega, our new Operations Director. Carlos was a Club member in the 90s and has been a part of this Club every since.

He likes to tell the story that when he was young, the Club was the how he was able to eat out and go to a movie for the first time ever in 5th grade! Carlos, and many kids like him get to have doors opened for them that otherwise may stay shut. This was because of the donations from our generous community.

As one of our Youth of the Year Candidates, Melody Mitchem said, "if you want to invest and make a profit, you have the stock market. If you want to invest and create positive change in our community, invest in the Boys & Girls Club."
