For over 35 years, Brain Injury Services (BIS) has been a lifeline for children, teenagers, adults, and veterans recovering from traumatic brain injury. Every year, our programs empower more than 1,178 survivors and their families, providing them with the support they need to rebuild their lives. None of this would be possible without our community's generosity—including you!
We invite you to join us at our 5th Annual Rubber Duck Race on Saturday, June 21, at the Fairfax County Cub Run Rec Center.

FAQ
What is a Rubber Duck Race?
Participants adopt a rubber duck and the ducks race in the lazy river at Cub Run Rec Center.
How Do I Participate?
Choose the rubber ducks you want to adopt. The rubber ducks have a number identifying them, and you will be sent their number. We will launch all the adopted rubber ducks for their race in Cub Run Rec Center’s lazy river. Ducks adopted by Friday, June 20, at noon will race on Saturday.
Join us at Cub Run Rec Center on June 21 at 6:30 PM to watch the race! You do not need to be present for your duck to win.
Winners will be announced and awarded with a trophy.
Which Rubber Ducks Should I Adopt?
You can adopt ducklings for $10 or a big yellow ducks for $100. Or you adopt a flock of ducks.
Can My Office, Club & Sports Team Participate?
Yes! Corporate sponsorships are also available. Please contact Andrew Wilinski at awilinski@braininjurysvcs.org or (703) 451-8881, ext. 238.
Are the ducks real or rubber?
They are rubber.
Can I keep my duck after the race?
Yes, if you are present on the day of the race. To have your racing duck mailed to you, add $10 to your donation.
