About This Event
Join us as the Michigan Parkinson Foundation and Parkinson's Movement Center join forces for the Hope on the Field Gala. Veteran and rookie organizations are teaming up to tackle Parkinson's together and make a big impact for the Parkinson's community at Ford Field, home of the Lions.
As an independent nonprofit organization established in 1983, the Michigan Parkinson Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of people with Parkinson’s and their families throughout Michigan, our funding comes from private contributions and grants -- your support is crucial. It enables us to fund over 6,000 hours of respite care assistance; provide exercise programs led by physical therapists six days a week; present critical education programs both in-person and online; facilitate more than75 support groups throughout the state, provide respite for families and much more.
Helping people with Parkinson's reach their full exercise potential since 2021, the Parkinson's Movement Center, specializes in movement-based activities from Boxing to Yoga to PWR! Moves. Their all-star team of coaches make an impact in their members' lives every single day. Parkinson's Movement Center's classes are not just about exercise, they bring comaraderie and are deeply rooted in community.
Ticket sales have closed for the 2024 Hope on the Field Gala. If you have any questions about the event, please contact Jennifer Muscat at 248-433-1160 or jmuscat@parkinsonsmi.org.
