Texas ranks 41st in the nation for girls' overall well-being. For physical health alone, we rank 51st, dead last. More than 90% of Texas girls don't get enough movement in a day, and less than 8% hit even sixty minutes, compared to nearly one in five boys. Teen girls are twice as likely as boys to report feeling sad, hopeless, or anxious. When parents were asked to rate their daughters' mental health, 8% called it dire.
