Join Desert Foothills Land Trust staff and conservation field professionals for a unique, on-the-land learning opportunity.
Learn from former public lands archaeologists Kathy Pedrick and Scott Wood about the indigenous peoples who called this region home. We'll begin with a classroom session at the Desert Foothills Land Trust Office, then head out to the field at Sears Kay Ruin to tour a Hohokam ruin occupied around 1,500 A.D.
Attendees will receive digital copies of all materials covered, along with a field notebook to take home.
