About This Event
Join Desert Foothills Land Trust staff and conservation field professionals for a unique, on-the-land learning opportunity.
Learn from botanist extraordinaire Steve Jones about the plants and animals that call the Sonoran Desert home, and the remarkable adaptations they rely on to thrive here, then see these examples firsthand in the field. We'll begin with a classroom session at the Desert Foothills Land Trust Office, then carpool to Jewel of the Creek Preserve to continue the lesson on-site.
Attendees will receive digital copies of all materials covered, along with an area-specific wildflower field guide and field notebook to take home.
