I was introduced to Victoria’s Victory Foundation through my lived experience rehabilitating at Project Walk Boston. As a survivor or Transverse Mylitis it became very clear to me that living with a spinal cord injury can be life-altering expensive. Choosing necessary medical services and supplies or learning how to walk are often the choices one will have to make. Both options are rarely in the cards due the expense.
I was fortunate enough to have the resources to learn how to walk again, but I still have thousands of dollars of residual expenses annually due to my diagnosis. It makes me sleep well at night knowing that I am part of an amazing organization that helps give money to qualified individuals in my similar situation.
I hope that you consider donating to this amazing non-profit. I personally give a monthly donation. It’s like a cup of coffee, or a fitness membership that never gets used! But this money is helping people, and the karma will come back you. Thank you!
