The 7th Street Art Auction invites guests to give back and bid boldly through an exclusive evening featuring original artwork, community connection, and meaningful support for the arts. This benefit event helps fund the exhibitions, arts education programs, artist opportunities, and community initiatives that make the Dahl Arts Center a vibrant home for the arts downtown in Rapid City.
The evening will feature a curated silent auction of artwork donated by participating artists, giving guests the chance to take home original work while making a meaningful investment in the local arts community. Participating artists have chosen to donate between 50% and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork, creating an opportunity to support both the artists who make our community vibrant and the Rapid City Arts Council’s mission to provide meaningful arts programming throughout the year. Proceeds from the auction directly support the Rapid City Arts Council and Dahl Arts Center and help fund exhibitions, education programs, artist opportunities, and community initiatives.
Guests will enjoy dinner from Nell's Gourmet, served buffet style at 7:30pm, along with music by Paul Peterson. The evening will also include the live announcement of the winner of the Dalí lithograph raffle. Guests are encouraged to dress in semi-formal attire for an evening celebrating art, artists, and the future of the arts in Rapid City.
