“Liam and Gavin were diagnosed with Autism and global delay at the age of 2, both also have epilepsy and some additional diagnoses. However, they have conquered an eating disability that they had since birth. They both were non-verbal until the age of 6.
Now, we can have conversations on just about everything. We can laugh at jokes and talk about when they have a tummy aches and continue to grow with the tools Spectrum360 proved.
I find comfort knowing my boys are in a safe, loving environment. Spectrum360 is now setting my boys up for future success.
I cannot stress enough the professionalism and kindness of the administration and staff here, from the enormous task of day-to-day operations of running this outstanding school to the pure human interaction between the students and staff. Every person I have met along the way truly cares about our children and it is abundantly evident.
Every morning they run to the bus with happy flaps and smiles to get to their favorite destination, Spectrum360! And return home with the same excitement from the day”.
- Kathleen Kayhart, Academy360 Lower School Parent
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity. Held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, nonprofits look to their communities for support, involvement, and encouragement.
Spectrum360 offers an array of services and individualized approaches that assist students and adults with autism and related disabilities to learn and grow at a pace that suits them best. We are consistently growing and ever-changing. With the increase in participants and the need for more space and supplies, we are hoping our community can assist us.
We are striving toward our $15,000 fundraising goal this Giving Tuesday. These funds will help us with communication electronics and learning supplies, scholarships for students and adults to attend respite weekends, transportation needs, job coaching and employment support, staffing for extra programming such as alumni nights and fun and game nights, and more.
Your contribution will make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. Thank you very much for your time and your ongoing support.
