Ripple of Impact

Another step, another rep, another mile. I am a long-retired competitive athlete, but I remember telling myself during some of the toughest training: ‘Just keep going. Put one foot in front of the other. Anyone can do that.’ Of course, my grown-up self understands that not everyone can do that.

As a board member for Victoria’s Victory Foundation, I appreciate why taking those steps, or overcoming any mobility challenge, may seem impossible. Progress halts when a family can no longer afford classes that had their child learning to walk again. Frustrations mount when insurance companies label critical care an “unnecessary expense.”

Since 2017, Victoria’s Victory has awarded more than $1.3 million to cover everything from adaptive equipment to home and vehicle modifications and physical training. VVF was founded by ESPN broadcaster and Olympic gold medalist Victoria Arlen and her mom, Jacqueline.

I invite you to join me with a gift and watch our Ripple of Impact grow!

The number 8 represents abundance, achievement and power.

VVF is embracing the meaning of this moment as we celebrate 8 incredible years in the 8th month of the year!

This year, VVF has had an abundance of scholarship applications, with funding requests over $1.3 million so far.

We've seen a record number of applicants in 2025, our highest ever. These requests far exceed our current budget capacity.

YOU have the power to help these people achieve their goals.

Help us raise $30,000 over the next seven days to help these people!
