    About

Weld Food Bank partners with local restaurants and chefs to offer cooking classes to the general community in our commercial kitchen. With the help of our generous partners, all proceeds from the classes will go to our kids programs.

Our Chef and Kitchen Manager, Natalie Leffler, will be in attendance at every class to act as sous chef and to answer questions about the food bank and our cooking class program.

Register for a class and enjoy a delicious way to help end hunger in our community! Class registration is non-refundable but may be given to a friend if you are unable to attend the class. Classes begin at 6:30pm in Leona's Kitchen at Weld Food Bank and should last approximately 2 hours.

    About

We are very excited about this year’s Weld Food Bank signature fundraising event.  The dinner and auction will take place at the UNC Ballrooms on April 5, 2014.  The Weld Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry will be highlighted this year with an emphasis on our Senior Feeding Programs.  Stone Soup guests will enjoy a Roaring 20’s vintage theme. Delicious crowned pork loin, prime beef ribs, and roasted vegetable mac and cheese gratin, are just a few of guest menu options skillfully presented by Chef Aran from UNC. Your guests will easily get in the spirit of the evening with photo opportunities staged with a 1920’s backdrop, photo props and local professional Doug Lidak as the official photographer for the evening.  A local Northern Colorado battle of the bands winner, “The Burroughs,” will provide awesome jazz and period 20’s music for the evening.  Stone Soup 2014 is the go to event of the year, all in the name of helping those who are at risk of food insecurity here in Weld County.  Please contact Cheri Witt-Brown, Community Engagement Manager, cheri@weldfoodbank.org  for more information.
