"Irascible Ethan Allen: He Cared Little About Ticonderoga's Guns"  

Dr. Bruce M. Venter is president of America's History LLC, a history tour and conference company headquartered in Goochland, Virginia. He is the author of the award-winning book, The Battle of Hubbardton: The Rear-Guard Action that Saved America. AHLLC is well-known for offering the country's premier conference on the American Revolution.

"Washington's Artillerist: Henry Knox Commands the Continental Guns"

Dr. Phillip Hamilton is a professor of history at Christopher Newport University in Virginia and the author of the acclaimed book, The Revolutionary War Lives and Letters of Lucy and Henry Knox. He also wrote The Making and Unmaking of a Revolutionary Family: The Tuckers of Virginia, 1752-1830. He is currently working on a new biography of Henry Knox.

"My Dinner with Andre? Henry Knox Arrives at Fort George on Lake George" 

Matthew Keagle is Curator of Collections at Fort Ticonderoga where he works at the forefront of collecting and interpreting the conflicts that shaped the 18th century. He has been involved in curation, exhibitions, research, historical interpretation, and program development for historic sites and museums in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Delaware, Virginia, North and South Carolina. He holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University, a master's from the Winterthur Museum, and recently completed his Ph.D. at the Bard Graduate Center in New York. 

✅ Michele Gabrielson

"American Calliope: The Writings of Mercy Otis Warren" 

Michele Gabrielson is a history teacher and historic interpreter of the 18th century at historic sites in the greater Boston area. She was recently awarded a 2024 Rising Star Award for Public History by the Massachusetts History Alliance, and she was named a finalist for the 2024 Massachusetts History Teacher of the Year. Her specialty is interpreting Mercy Otis Warren.

"The Woman at the Gun Reconsidered: Molly Pitcher's Legendary Performance at Monmouth"

Dr. Mark Edward Lender has a Ph.D. in American History from Rutgers University. He is Professor Emeritus of History at Kean University. He is the author or co-author of eleven books and many articles and reviews. He was a finalist for The George Washington Prize with Garry Wheeler Stone, for Fatal Sunday: George Washington, the Monmouth Campaign, and the Politics of Battle. He lives in Richmond, Virginia.

Journey through history with our expert-guided bus tour led by Dr. Phillip Hamilton, a distinguished historian specializing in Henry Knox and the Revolutionary War. This immersive experience follows portions of the sled tracks of Henry Knox: Fort Miller to the Mohawk River commemorating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Henry Knox Noble Train of Artillery (Dec 2025 – Mar 2026). 

This once-in-a-lifetime tour includes a box lunch and offers an incredible opportunity to journey through the historic sites where patriots shaped our nation’s future.
