Healing Hearts: A Journey of Love, Loss, and Hope

About This Event

The loss of a baby can change everything. Whether your loss occurred through miscarriage,
stillbirth, or infant loss, the path through grief is often filled with questions, overwhelming
emotions, and a longing to find hope again.

Healing Hearts: A Journey of Love, Loss, and Hope is an interactive workshop designed to
provide a safe, compassionate space where you can honor your baby, acknowledge the many
emotions that accompany loss, and begin exploring what healing can look like in your own life.
Together, we will explore common grief experiences, normalize emotions such as guilt, anger,
anxiety, and uncertainty, and discuss how grief can affect your relationships, identity, and hope
for the future. Through storytelling, guided reflection, interactive activities, and practical coping
tools, you will leave with meaningful resources and strategies to support you long after the
retreat has ended.

This workshop is about giving yourself permission to move again, at your own pace, while
carrying your baby's memory with love, compassion, and hope. Whether your loss is recent or
years behind you, you are invited to come exactly as you are. There is no expectation to have it
all figured out. Only an invitation to take one more step toward healing.

Maddie's Footprints is honored to have Lindsey P. Boxie, LPC, PMH-C, R-PLC, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) clinician, and RETAIN Parental Leave Coach dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life's most difficult and transformative seasons. She specializes in perinatal mental health, including pregnancy loss, infant loss, infertility, postpartum adjustment, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

Lindsey's passion for this work is both professional and deeply personal. In July 2015, she experienced the stillbirth of her daughter, Parker, at 37 weeks pregnant. This experience profoundly shaped her understanding of grief, healing, and the importance of compassionate support. While her story informs her empathy, she believes every family's journey through loss is unique and deserving of individualized care. Lindsey believes healing is not about forgetting or "moving on," but about learning how to move again while carrying love and loss together and creating space for hope. Her approach combines clinical expertise with compassion, practical coping strategies, and meaningful reflection, empowering individuals to honor their grief without allowing it to define their future.

Lindsey is passionate about helping people feel seen, understood, and equipped with practical
tools that support healing through life's many transitions. She considers it a privilege to walk
alongside individuals and families as they navigate grief, discover how to renew their strength,
and embrace hope while honoring the love they carry.

We will meet downstairs at 234 Rue Beauregard. Doors will open at 9:15 with breakfast, and the session will begin promptly at 10 AM.
