About A Chance In Life
A Chance In Life is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our misison is to provide “a chance in life” to marginalized and at-risk young people around the world, empowering them through our unique approach of Positive Youth Development. We are committed to creating lasting changes in the lives of children and their communities to break the cycle of poverty.
This year, A Chance In Life will serve over 8,800 children and youth in 14 countries across 5 continents. We work with local partners in India, Ethiopia, Uganda, Italy, Palestine, Bolivia, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Venezuela. In 2020 we opened our first United States-based program, A Chance In Life – The Village on Staten Island.
Our comprehensive initiatives encompass education, community building, leadership development and food security. We believe youth education and empowerment are crucial for building a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
