Support Action Camp 2026

About This Event

Join us in support of Action Camp, where students from across Illinois come together for five days of youth-led workshops, social events, and community building. This year, we're excited to gather in person from Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7, 2026.

Please select "Get Tickets" to make a donation at one of the levels listed below.

Action Camp is our most powerful youth leadership convening of the year, a transformational, 5-day sleepaway experience co-hosted with Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook each August. Young leaders from GSAs and youth groups across the state come together to connect, collaborate, and build the future of the safe schools movement. Often described as “magical”, Action Camp is a unique space where young people see their identities fully reflected and affirmed, sharpen their critical lens, strengthen their anti-oppressive frameworks, and learn directly from one another. Through shared learning, skill-building, and collective action, participants leave empowered to create schools and communities where every identity is safe, supported, celebrated, and able to thrive. Action Camp is open to youth leaders who are rising 8th graders through rising seniors in high school.

This is an experience I think everyone should have, it really restores self-confidence, and love, and there's so much information we learn that's super important”  ~ Camper

“My child came home feeling amazing; lots of new friendships and she felt SO included the entire week.” ~ Caregiver/Parent

No campers are ever turned away from Action Camp for lack of funds, and your support helps to make this possible!

Thank you so much!
