4th Annual Knock Out ALHP Clay Shoot

Trigg Ranch - Bastrop, TX


Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) invites you to join our Adult Learn to Hunt Program (ALHP) and Colorado River Land Trust (CRLT) for a fun afternoon of clay shooting overlooking the beautiful Trigg Ranch in Bastrop County.

Established in 1847, the Trigg Ranch is a six-generation working cattle farm located on the Colorado River. The afternoon will start with check-in and a safety briefing before open clay shooting and a fun game of "knock out" where all winning participants will receive some nice swag to take home. A grand prize will be awarded to the overall top shot woman and man of the day! When shooters are done we'll have catered lunch and cold beverages.

10:00 AM – Arrival to Ranch
10:00 – 10:45 – Park, mingle and get oriented
10:45 – Welcome remarks:
Jeff Crosby from CRLT
Kristin Parma from TWA
Marshall Trigg of Trigg Ranch
*Safety Briefing
11:00 – 12:00 PM -  Open clay shooting
12:00 – 1:00 PM – Clay Shooting Competition (free to all registered participants)
1:00 – 2:00 PM – Lunch to be served with drinks


* Please note while we will have adult beverages, you will not be allowed to shoot and drink, only once you have decided you are done shooting will you be able to enjoy an adult beverage.

3:00 PM – Depart off property

We invite all our participants to join us the evening of August 15th in La Grange for the Texas Big Game Awards Region 7 Banquet at the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center.
