About This Camp
Welcome to the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation’s “Write in the Middle” creative writing summer camp! Develop your inner writer and become a published author at this fun-filled, weeklong camp!
All campers will receive their own journal to write in, sketch, and decorate. Throughout the week, campers will write about activities they participate in each day. Selections for all campers will appear in a book LRJF will publish! Books will be available in the fall and will be distributed to all camp alumni at a reunion celebration at that time (details to be announced).
Camp hours are 9 am – 3 pm daily, Monday – Friday. Each camper will bring his or her own lunch. On Friday, pizza will be provided and campers will spend the day at the pole barn of the Laura (Riding) Jackson historic home on the Mueller Campus of IRSC.
