Program Sponsorships:
Joyce Galya Scholarship Award
Per Scholarship Recipient: $3,500
Empower and immediately impact an AFP Miami member by supporting their professional development with the sponsorship of the Joyce Galya Scholarship Award Program! The Joyce Galya AFP Miami Scholarship Award was established in 2009 to honor the memory of a colleague who devoted her time and talent to building this chapter.
There are up to two (2) awards available every year, depending on funding, exclusively available to AFP Miami members that fit certain criteria (maximum 5 years fundraising experience; never previously attended AFP ICON, etc). Every fall, AFP Miami asks for nominations, which are then scored by the scholarship committee. The top nominee(s) will be awarded scholarships that cover the conference registration and $1,500 for travel and lodging.

Monthly Education Series
In-Person: $1,000 Or Virtual: $500

Engage with the nonprofit community through the sponsorship of an AFP Miami Education Program! These programs run for approximately 60-75 minutes and cover a wide array of topics featuring local, regional and national professionals with expertise in their chosen subject matter. Presentation provides a broad overview with ample time for questions from attendees. It is possible that the program may be co-hosted with neighboring chapters to further expand the reach (note this varies).

Quarterly Cafecito Chats
Series Sponsor: $500
25-40 Attendees on Average Throughout the Year
Be among the first to “Welcome” new AFP Miami members into the mix. Cafecito Chats are virtual orientations that give members an overview on ongoing chapter programming and a direct line to Board leadership. These virtual programs run for approximately 30 minutes and are informal and informational. This exclusive sponsorship guarantees four touchpoints throughout the year with AFP Miami community and members.
